GV II

House, C17 and early C19. Timber framed, plastered, roofed with handmade red
clay tiles and slates. Of 2 builds (1) C17 house of L-plan with wings extending
to N and W, with 2 extensions to W, all roofed with tiles, and (2) early C19
house to S, with low-pitched hipped roof of slate. 2 storeys. E elevation,
half-glazed door in porch with slender columns and flat roof, c.1900, one
double-hung sash window of 12 lights and 2 tripartite double-hung sash windows
of 4-12-4 lights, all early C19. First floor, 2 similar sash windows and 2
similar tripartite windows. The interior of the N part has jowled posts and
chamfered beams with lamb's tongue stops. The interior of the S part has an
original stair with stick balusters, and other original internal features.
