House, early C17 or earlier, extended in C18 and C20. Timber framed, plastered,
roofs of handmade red clay tiles and slate. 2-bay wing aligned NW-SE, now a
garage with bedroom above, early C17 or earlier. C18 extension to NE, with
one axial chimney stack and one external stack at NE gable end. Single-storey
lean-to extension to SE. Single storey with attics, and 2 storeys. SE
elevation, metal garage door, 2 C20 casement windows, and glazed conservatory
with lean-to roof of handmade red clay tiles. First floor, 4 C20 casement
windows. The interior of the SW wing has heavy studding with arched bracing
trenched to the inside, a chamfered beam with lamb's stops and plain joists
of horizontal section. The NE range has the main frame of pegged construction,
with lighter studding.
