block and retaining wall
adjoining bridge
to north east


Stable block, the lower part of the rear (west) wall being a retaining wall
to the dry moat. C18. Red brick. Hipped red tiled roof. 2 storeys. First
floor with 6 window range, the 2 right windows now blocked. There are 2 loft
doors above the ground floor doors. 6 window range to ground floor, the 2 right
windows being half round with centre glazing bars and brick arches. All other
windows small, with gauged brick arches and mainly central glazing bars. 2
doorways with half round lights over with central glazing bars. A pair of
vertically boarded double doors to right. Some stall boxes remain, also iron
