A row of cottages. C18 or earlier with later alterations. Timber framed and
plastered. Red plain tiled roof with 5 gabled dormers. 3 red brick chimney
stacks. 1 storey and attics. 9 window range of small paned casements. 2 doors
to left, 1 vertically boarded, the other C20 glazed. Passageway to right. A
plaque reads: Essex County Council. Reconditioned under the provisions of the
Housing Rural Workers Act 1926. Included for Group Value with the Church and
