Row of four cottages. Probably C17 or earlier origin with C18 and later
alterations and additions. Timber framed, red brick faced. Red plain tiled
roof with dropped level to right. Three red brick chimney stacks, the central
stack with attached square shafts. 1 storey and attics. 7 catslide dormers
and 7 window range of various 2 or 3 light casements, horizontal and vertical
sliding sashes with glazing bars. 2 vertically boarded and 2 part glazed part
panelled doors. All ground floor doors and windows with segmental brick arches.
No. 30 has been restored using old materials and is included for group value
with the other cottages and village.
