GV II

House. C16 or earlier with C18 and later alterations and extensions. Part
timber framed and plastered with some painted brick facing. Red plain tiled
roofs. Off centre right and external left red brick chimney stacks. Of complex
plan, with 2 level rear roofs and 3 forward gables of varying sizes, that to
the right crosswing with a jetty. There is a small single storey extension
to rear left with C20 small paned casements. 2 storeys. 1:1:1 window range
of various C19 vertical sliding sashes with horns, C19 casements with glazing
bars and C20 square leaded casements. To right crosswing C20 square leaded
casements to oriels. Blocked semi-circular brick arch over ground floor left
window. C20 door to left return. RCHM 15.
