TL 73 NE CASTLE HEDINGHAM KIRBY HALL LANE
2/48 Priestfields Farmhouse

GV II

House. C17 or earlier with later alterations and additions. Timber framed
and ashlar line plastered. Red plain tiled roofs. Gabled crosswing to left.
Large red brick chimney stack to left of main range and red brick stack to
crosswing. 2 storeys. 1:4 window range to first foor. 1:2 range to ground
floor of small paned casements, that to ground floor left a C20 hipped red tiled
bay. Gabled red tiled central porch part brick part plastered. Vertically
boarded door. Reputedly built upon medieval secular building foundations.
