TL 73 NE CASTLE HEDINGHAM QUEEN STREET (EAST SIDE)

House. Early C18 or earlier with later alterations. Timber framed and panel
pargetted. Red plain tiled roof. 3 flat head dormers with moulded cornices.
Moulded eaves cornice with double brackets. Left off centre and right external
red brick chimney stacks. 2 storeys and attics. 5 window range of small paned
vertically sliding sashes of 1 or 2 lights. Off centre right 6 panel door is
approached by 3 steps. Surround with moulded capitals and bases to half
columns, fluted supports and moulded soffit to open pediment with semi-circular
recess to frieze. Interior said to contain original staircase, panelling and
exposed ceiling beams, Dutch tiles to original fireplace and several old doors.
