3/137 Pannels Ash Farmhouse

GV II

House. C16 or earlier with later alterations and additions. Timber framed and
plastered with panel pargetting. Red plain tiled roof. Central and right red
brick chimney stacks. 2 storeys. 4 window range of mainly vertically sliding
sashes with glazing bars, some with margins. Central door with frieze, flat
canopy and brackets. Internally, restored red brick fireplace with straight
mantel beam over showing signs of painted pattern. Stop chamfered ceiling
beams. Mullion slots visible. Painted flint and brick faced rear wing. RCHM
