5/165 Home Farm Cottages

II

A pair of cottages. Circa 1850-1860. For Samuel Courtauld. Mainly red brick
with black brick diapering and gault dressings. Plaster to three feature gables
and first floor. Three red and gault brick chimney stacks to rear ridge and one
to right and left feature gables. Two storeys. Three window range to first
floor, two range to ground floor of iron windows with ornate glazing bars and
gauged brick arches. Two central vertically boarded doors with square lights.
The cottages are similar to those in the village q.v. 7/191.
