7/182 The King's Head Inn

Public houe. C16 or earlier. Timber framed and pargetted plaster with batten
decoration and some painted brick facing. Red plain tiled roofs. 3 red brick
chimney stacks visible from the street. Double range to left, with right hipped
crosswing outshot to right. 2 storeys. 2:1 window range of mainly small paned
vertically sliding sashes with ground floor bay windows to left and right and
a Venetian window to first floor right. 6 panelled door to left and central
C20 double glazed doors to extended roof porch. Exposed timber framing
internally and chamfered brick arch to fireplace. RCHM 7.
