Public House. C15 or earlier with later alterations and additions. Timber
framed and plastered. Red plain tiled roofs, gabled crosswings to left, gabled
dormer to central range, hipped crosswing to right. Three red brick chimney
stacks. Two storey crosswings. One storey and attic central range. Single
storey C20 lean-to infill extension to left and centre. Right crosswing
outbuilt to ground floor with bay window over. 1:1:1 window range. Of various
three light vertically sliding sashes and casements. Double glazed doors to
left. Originally an open hall house and crosswing with C16 crosswing and later
rear ranges. Exposed frame internally with stop chamfered beams.
