approx. 45 metres north
east of Hall

Barn. C18. Timber internal frame, red brick dressings to flint walls. Half
hipped red pantile roof. Two hipped midstreys to west with projecting eaves,
and two catslide porches to east. Full height vertically boarded doors. Red
brick cornice, central band and plinth. 8 large bays with red brick pilasters
between and to angles, doors and midstreys. Each bay with symmetrically placed
two or four red brick ventilator slits above centre band. Loft doors to return
walls. Arched braces to top plates and tie beams. Intermittant collars to side
purlin roof. Halved and bladed scarfs to top plates. An attractive barn and
good of its type.
