Barn. Early C18. Timber framed, weatherboarded, roofed with corrugated iron.
3 bays aligned N-S with hipped midstrey to E. Large double doors to W, smaller
double doors at E end of midstrey. Entirely built of high quality oak of
exceptionally straight grain, probably imported. Almost unaltered except for
removal of E wall of S bay. Fully pegged construction, face-halved and bladed
scarfs in wallplates, primary straight bracing, hanging knees to tiebeams,
clasped purlin roof. A good example of its period.
