Water Lane is wrongly shown on the O.S. map as Brook Street. Coach house and
stables. Early C19. Mainly red brick in Flemish bond, with some weather-
boarding, slate roofs. Coach house with gable to W, stables to N and S with
roofs aligned at right angles to coach house. Central section of 2 storeys,
with loft over coach house, remainder of one storey. Double doors to coach
house, 3 fixed windows on first floor (not original), round window in gable.
One 12-light casement in left wing, one 20-light cast iron casement in right
wing, both C19. Low pitched roofs.
