House. C18. Gault brick, red brick at rear only, both in Flemish bond, roofed
with handmade red clay tiles. 2 parallel ranges facing SE, with internal stack
at left end of front range, and external stack of red brick at right end.
Central stack in rear range. Single-storey rear extension from right side. 2
storeys. 2-window range of C18/early C19 sashes of 20 lights, and one more over
door of 12 lights. Central 6-panel door with top panels glazed, in porch with 2
fluted columns and 2 engaged columns, and flat roof, formerly pedimented. Plain
parapet with stone coping. A straight joint in the gault brick indicates that
it is not all of the same period, the left return wall having been faced at a
later date than the front, and the external stack in red brick built outside the
gault brick of the right return wall.
