(Sometimes known as Alder under Rill)

House. Formerly a public house. C16/C17 or earlier with later alterations and additions. Timber framed and rough rendered. Red brick plinth. Rear extension. Red plain tiled roofs, half hipped to north and west. L-plan. Central red brick chimney stack to left forward range. Two storeys. 2:2 window range of C20 three light small paned casements. Some C16/C17 studding exposed internally and chamfered bridging joists throughout.
