7/77 Barn approx. 70 metres
east of Stanton's


Barn. Cl6/C17 of C13 origin. Timber framed and weatherboarded. Half hipped
corrugated asbestos clad roof. 2 gabled midstreys. The barn is aisled. Queen
strut, side purlin roof. Arched braces to tie beams. 8 bays. Bladed scarf to
top plate. There are several pairs of C13 storey posts remaining in the C16/C17
restored barn. The later storey posts are jowled.
