TL 72 NW GREAT SALING THE STREET
(West side)

House. Early C16 or earlier. Timber framed and plastered. Red plain tiled
roof with gabled crosswing to left. Bargeboards and finial to right return
gable. Off centre chimney stack with 3 attached diagonal shafts. 2 storeys and
attics. 1:1 window range to first floor, 2:2 window range to ground floor of
mainly 3 light small paned casements. C20 glazed door to left. Small flat
roofed extension to left with one small paned vertically sliding sash window.
Early C19 extension to rear and a gabled dormer which may incorporate remains of
a C16 stair turret. RCHM4
