House. C17 or earlier with later alterations and additions. Timber framed and
plastered. Red plain tiled roofs. Outshot gabled crosswing to left, with
attached single storey crosswing. Wings at rear. Off centre chimney stack to
main range, rear chimney stack to crosswing. Of complex plan. Mainly 2
storeys. 1:1 window range of 3 light small paned casements with casement to
left outshot. Red tiled bay to ground floor right. 6 panelled door, moulded
surround, moulded pediment to frieze, flat canopy. RCHM 85 (Felsted)
