TL 71 NE WHITE NOTLEY CHURCH HILL

7/223 The Vicarage

GV II

House. C16 origin right crosswing, C18 central range, C19 left crosswing.
Mainly timber framed and plastered. Red tiled roofs with hip to centre bay and
bargeboards to gables. 4 gault brick chimney stacks. 2 storeys. 1:2:1 window
range, of mainly small paned vertically sliding sashes, vertically sliding
sashes with glazed side margins to 2 storey bay. The bay has centre band.
Porch to left of right crosswing with moulded capitals and bases to square
columns moulded frieze and flat canopy, now glazed. Internal features include
two C19 moulded fire surrounds with hand painted tiles. Arched landing doorway.
Stick staircase with wreathed baluster rail carrying through to landing.
Original glass to C18 windows.
