TL 73 SW FINCHINGFIELD UPPER WALTHAM CROSS

4/95 Cook's Farmhouse

House. C17 or earlier. Timber framed, plastered, roofed with interlocking
concrete pantiles. 4 bays facing S, with internal stack at left end and axial
stack one bay from right end. Single-storey lean-to extension at rear. One
storey with attics. 4 C20 casements and 2 more in swept dormers. Boarded door
with small pane in tiled gabled porch. The interior has chamfered axial beams
and plain joists of horizontal section.
