House. C15, altered in C16, C18 and C20. Timber framed, plastered, thatched
roof. 3 bays facing SW, comprising 2-bay hall and originally storeyed end,
extended to left by one bay in C18. Axial stack, and external stack at right
end, terminated below eaves. C20 extension to rear of right end. One storey
with attics. 3 C20 casements, and 3 more in gabled dormers. C20 door. The
external plaster is in panels with combed guilloche designs. The interior has
chamfered axial beams with exposed plain joists of horizontal section, inserted
in the hall. Brickwork of main hearth renewed. C18 corner cupboard with shaped
shelves.
