House. Mid C16, altered in C17/C18 and C20. Timber framed, plastered, roofed
with handmade red clay tiles. 2 bays facing W, with C17 external stack at right
end. C17/C18 extension to rear of left end. 2 storeys. 2-window range of C20
casements, C20 door with bracketed gabled canopy. Roof half-hipped at right and
rear. The interior has exposed close studding with curved braces trenched to
the inside, chamfered beams with step stops, exposed plain joists of horizontal
section, clasped purlin roof. The right bay has been altered to form a central
stairway. RCHM 6.
