south-east of Warren
Farm Cottage

GV II

Barn. Late C17/early C18. Timber framed, weatherboarded, roofed with
corrugated asbestos. 5 bays aligned NE-SW with midstrey to NW. Lean-to
extensions each side of midstrey. The sloping site is built up with base walls
of red brick in English bond at the NE end, mainly original. Roof of midstrey
hipped. Pegged hardwood frame. Primary straight bracing in walls. Clasped
purlin roof. Included for group value.
