Farmhouse

GV II

Barn. Early C17. Timber framed, weatherboarded, roof thatched. 5 bays aligned
N-S, with midstrey to SW. Open lean-to shelters each side of midstrey, roofed
with red clay 'Roman' tiles. Jowled posts, heavy studding, primary straight
bracing, face-halved and bladed scarfs in wallplates, butt-purlin roof.
