GV II

House, now divided into 2 cottages. C.1600, altered in C19 and C20. Timber
framed, roughcast rendered, roofed with handmade red clay tiles. 4 bays facing
SE, with axial stack at left end and C19 external stack at right end. One
storey with attics. 4 C20 casements on ground floor, 3 more in gabled dormers.
C20 door (no. 2), plain boarded door at front of lean-to porch (no. 3).
Original sprockets below eaves. Chamfered axial beams, plain joists of horizon-
tal section, jowled posts, arched rising braces at corners, heavy studding.
Original ledged door with Z-rebated boards in left end wall, now fixed.
