Wrongly shown on OS map as Lone's Vale. Cottage. Late C18. 2 bays facing W,
with external stack at right end. Small single-storey extension at left end
with catslide roof. Single-storey extension at right end with slate roof. One
storey with attics. 2-window range of C20 casements, the upper ones in swept
dormers. Plain boarded door in left return wall. Roof half-hipped at left end.
C18 wrought iron casement in right return wall. This cottage and that
immediately to the south are both known as Lone's Hole; they are distinguished
here as (north) and (south).
