(Formerly listed as Western's Farmhouse)

House, divided into 2 cottages. Mid-C16, altered in C19. Timber framed,
weatherboarded, roofed with handmade red clay tiles. 4 bays facing NE, with C19
internal stack in second bay from right end, and a C19 external stack at each
end. C19 rear extension with central stack, forming a T-plan, and small C20
extension beyond, both with slate roofs. 2 storeys. 4-window range of C20
casements. 2 C20 doors. The roof has a gablet hip at each end. The interior
of the left cottage has chamfered axial and transverse beams with step stops and
chamfered joists of horizontal section with plain stops. The right cottage has
a transverse beam boxed in. Jowled posts, clasped purlin roof.
