Barn. Early C16 or earlier. Timber framed, weatherboarded, roofed with
corrugated asbestos. 3 bays aligned approx. E-W, with one-bay extension, open
to N, at W end. Jowled posts, cambered tiebeams, edge-halved and bridled scarf
in N wallplate, crownpost roof with axial bracing. Great doors to S, smaller
doors to N, of middle bay. W extension has heavy framing to wallplate level,
roof rebuilt in softwood.
