Farmhouse

GV II

Barn. Late C17. Timber framed, weatherboarded and plastered, roofed with
corrugated asbestos. 4 bays aligned NW-SE, with midstrey to NE. Jowled posts,
primary straight bracing, arched braces to tiebeams replaced by bolted knees,
gambrel roof half-hipped at both ends. Face-halved and bladed scarfs in
wallplates.
