Cottage. C17, extended in C18. Timber framed, plastered, roofed with handmade
red clay tiles. 2 bays facing NE, with external stack at left end.
Single-storey crosswing at right end, C18. 2 storeys with attics. Ground
floor, 2 C19 casements. First floor, 2 original windows, 3-light and 2-light,
each with one wrought iron casement, with diamond leading. Plain boarded door.
Bread oven at front of stack, incomplete. Jowled posts. Primary straight
bracing. Chamfered transverse beam with plain stops. All chamfers elsewhere in
frame ending in plain stops. Original floorboards. Clasped purlin roof with
arched collars. RCHM 27.
