Railings and gateway approx. 7 metres south of The Manse

Railings and gateway. Early C19, reset in C20. Cast iron on base wall of red
brick. Railings in 6 sections, stepped up gradient, with fleur-de-lys finials,
reset. Hollow square piers at E end and on each side of gate, with elaborate
design of scrolls and foliage, and solid tented finials. Overall length approx.
12 metres, height approx. 0.80 metre. Related in design to those of Panfield
Farmhouse, Panfield, which are inscribed 'Goss Rayne 1837', referring to the
Rayne Iron Foundry.
