1/21 Gate piers to the main
entrance of Belchamp
Hall

GV II

Pair of gate piers. Late C18. With short curving walls either side, capped by
wrought iron railings with urn finials. Piers are of rubble, reused worked
stone with ornamental detail and have ogee stone caps. Probably remnants of
former chancel of parish church. RCHM 4.
