1/30 Barn 30 metres west of
8.6.78 Fishers Farmhouse (formerly
listed as "immediately
GV II south of Rippingale")

Barn. Late C16. Timber framed and black weatherboarded with clay pantile
gabled roof. Now of 5 bays with aisles and with gabled midstrey, off-centre on
east side. This has dovecote holes in gable. Formerly 6 bays and rebuilt after
partial collapse and fire. The primary structure is complete with jowled posts,
arch braced tie beams and long passing braces to back of arcade posts. Roof has
been substantially renewed. Included for group value.
