1/39 Barn at Borley Lodge Farm

GV II

Barn. C15 and C17. Timber framed and weatherboarded with gabled corrugated
iron roof. Aisled. 5 bays with central gabled midstrey to south. Cart lodge
attached south west with hipped corrugated iron roof, brick end wall, with some
flint rubble and brick dressings. Barn has three C15 bays, with jowled posts,
arch bracing and splayed and bridled scarf joints. Centre truss in reversed
assembly with side jowls. Remaining 2 bays are a C17 extensions with slender
bracing and long tapering jowls.
