House. C18. Timber framed, plastered and weatherboarded, roofed with slate and
handmade red plain tiles. Approximately square plan with central passage and 3
internal stacks, of 2 storeys. To rear left, weatherboarded wing of one storey
and attic with tiled roof. 3-window range of C18/early C19 sashes, 16 lights on
the ground floor, 12 lights on the first floor, with some handmade glass. C19
central door with 2 small lights in simple moulded surround. Hipped roof of low
pitch, slated. Front and rear plastered, left return weatherboarded, joined to
Chalkney Mill (item 9/49, q.v.) at right. C19 half-octagonal bay to rear, with
3 sashes with marginal lights and semi-pyramidal roof of slate.
