House. Late C17, extended in C20. Timber framed, plastered and weatherboarded,
roof thatched. 4 bays facing N, with stack in second bay from left against rear
wall. Flat-roofed C20 single-storey extension to rear of left bay, and lean-to
garage beyond roofed with corrugated iron, One storey with attics. 3 C20
casements and one more in gabled dormer. Flush 4-panel door. Chamfered
transverse and axial beams with lamb's tongue stops, posts with half-height
jowls, plain joists of vertical section. Primary straight bracing. In the left
bay the floor is modern; this bay may itself be an extension to the original
building.
