House, now divided into 2. C15, extended in C18. Timber framed, plastered,
roofed with handmade red plain tiles. 2-bay hall facing SW with service bay to
left and parlour/solar bay to right. C18 one-bay extension to left. 2 axial
stacks and external stack at right end. Rear extensions. One storey with
attics. No. 4 (at left) has 3 ground-floor windows and 3 in gabled dormers, all
under alteration at time of survey, April 1986. No. 2 (at right) has 2 sashes
of 16 lights, and 2 C20 casements in gabled dormers. Gablet hip at right end of
roof. Jowled posts, close studding. Cranked central tiebeam. Crownpost roof
with axial bracing. Plain internal doorheads. (Measured drawings of frame in
