GV II

Barn. C17. Timber-framed, weatherboarded, roofed with corrugated red plain
tiles. 5 bays aligned approx N-S, with later midstrey to E. Lean-to extension
in NE angle, with similar tiles. Jowled posts, primary straight bracing,
arched braces to tiebeams all replaced by bolted knees except one, face-halved
and bladed scarfs in wallplates. Roof rebuilt with softwood in C20. Included
for group value.
