Range of 3 attached houses, possibly one house originally. C18, altered in C19.
Timber framed, plastered, roofed with handmade red plain tiles. Main range
facing S, with axial stack to right of centre. Parallel rear range, with 2
stacks between. Short wing to rear right with hipped roof, and C20 single-
storey extension with flat roof beyond. Longer parallel wing to left of it, and
C19 2-storey extension beyond of red brick in Flemish bond, roofed with red clay
pantiles (behind no. 45). C19/20 2-storey lean-to extension with slate roof to
rear left (behind nos. 43 and 41). 2 storeys. Ground floor, 3 late C19 splayed
bays of sashes of 2-4-2 lights, and one late C19 sash of 4 lights. First floor,
5 late C19 sashes of 4 lights and one of 2 lights. No. 43, C19 half-glazed door
in doorcase with panelled jambs and gabled canopy on scrolled brackets; 3 stone
steps. No. 45, early C19 5-panel door, 3 panels glazed and 2 flush, in reeded
doorcase with paterae and moulded flat canopy; 3 stone steps. No. 47, C20
6-panel door, 2 stone steps. The first-floor windows of no. 43 have moulded
cornices. Nos. 43 and 45 have a moulded band at first-floor level and a moulded
parapet. No. 47 has aC19 facade of plastered brick and a simple parapet
