House, now restaurant and flat. C18, altered in C19. Timber framed, plastered,
roof concealed by parapet. Rectangular plan facing NW, with internal stack at
right side. 3 storeys. Ground floor, full-length C19 shopfront, with recessed
glazed double doors and one stone step, 4 heavy brackets carved with scrolls,
lion's heads and foliage, and fascia; at left end, 4-panel door with plain
overlight, panelled jambs and soffit. 3-window range of late C18 sashes of 12
lights. Dentilled and moulded cornice, plain parapet. Boxed transverse and
axial beams.
