GV II

House. Early C19. Mainly plastered with facade of gault brick in Flemish bond,
roofed with slate. L-plan facing SE with one stack in left return and one at
rear of rear wing. 2 storeys. 2-window range of original sashes of 16 lights
with near-flat arches and crown glass. One similar blank aperture over central
door. Early C19 6-panel door (lower panels flush, middle panels fielded, top
panels glazed) in pedimented plaster doorcase with panelled jambs and soffit. 4
stone steps with original attached railing each side, comprising D-section
wrought iron handrails scrolled under at ends, and 2 cast iron scrolled
stanchions to each.
