of Church Street and
Part of house, now shop. C15, altered in C19 and C20. Timber framed, plastered
with some exposed imitation framing, roofed with handmade red plain tiles. One-
bay range facing SW, formerly the right bay of a hall house of which no. 14
(Stonehaven) was originally the crosswing (item 9/193, q.v.); a wide vehicle
access has been cut through the hall, isolating the 2 parts. One-bay wing to
rear, slightly angled to the right. One storey with attics. Ground floor, C20
shopfront and C20 part-glazed door. The upper storey has exposed imitation
framing, without a window. Left return and rear fully plastered. The interior
is wholly plastered and all beams covered, but an incomplete crownpost roof is
visible from the attic of no. 10 (item 9/191, q.v.). RCHM 42.
