Barn. Late C14 with late C16 and C17 alterations. Timber framed,
weatherboarded and plastered, roofed with corrugated iron. 3 bays aligned
approx. NE-SW and 2 aisles. C17 gabled midstrey to SE. C18/19 lean-to
extensions at each end, giving it the external appearance of a 5-bay barn with
gablet hips. Lead-to extension in W angle. Aisle ties and jowled arcade posts
trenched for former passing braces. Arched braces to arcade plates and cambered
tiebeams, complete. Face-halved and bladed scarf in arcade-plate. Arcade-post
to N of midstrey severed at mid-height and supported on C20 bolted structure.
Unjowled posts in midstrey. Clasped purlin roof, lightly charred.
