Ancillary building. Circa 1600. Timber framed, plastered, roofed with handmade
red plain tiles. 2 bays aligned approx. NE-SW, with catslide extension to NW
enclosing stack, and smaller one-bay extension to SW. Main building of 2
storeys and attic, extension of one storey and attic. NE elevation under
alteration at time of survey, October 1986; one window in each storey and one in
attic gable. Entrance in left return. Jowled posts, straight bracing inside
heavy studding, plain joists of vertical section, clasped purlin roof. Large
bread oven with barrel-vault roof and wrought iron door with original latch,
C18. The rear extension also has jowled posts and a clasped purlin roof.
