A late C18 or early C19 red brick building with a later C19 red brick
house at the east end now all part of tge Urban District Council Offices.
The earlier block is 2 storeys and attics. 3 window range, double-hung
sashes without glazing bars, in plain reveals. The outer windows are
3-light. A central 6-panel door with a semi-circular fanlight has a raised
stucco surround. Raised stucco bands run between the storeys and at eaves
level. Roof tiled, with a stone gutter and 3 flat headed dormers. No
16 is a smaller house with end pilasters. 2 storeys. 2 window range,
double-hung sashes without glazing bars in plain reveals. A central doorway
has a semi-circular arched fanlight. A raised brick band runs between
the storeys. Roof tiled (C20).
Nos 14 to 18 (even) with Nos 15, 17 and the Cabin Dairy form a group.
