Parish school, now a house. 1842. Painted brick in Flemish bond, roof
thatched. Rectangular plan facing NW with rear stack, and C20 flat-roofed
single-storey extension to rear. One storey. 3 original sashes of 16 lights.
C20 door at front of original gabled porch. Over door, stone tablet inscribed
'Cold Norton (some words erased) erected in 1842'. Hipped roof. One similar
sash in left return. When it was a school the brickwork was not painted.
