House. C17, altered in C19. Timber framed, roughcast rendered, roofed with
handmade red clay tiles and slates. C17 range facing N, and C19 parallel range
to S, with 3 internal stacks at the junction, forming a rectangular plan. 2
storeys. N elevation, ground floor, 3 sashes of 12 lights of which one is early
C19, the others late C19. First floor, 3 early C19 sashes of 12 lights with
crown glass, and 2 C20 casements. The left upper window has crown glass in
every pane, a rare survival which merits special care. Early C19 6-panel door
and cast iron fanlight with guilloche and garland tracery, in dentilled open
pediment. The rendering of the N range is over weatherboarding; the roof is
tiled. The roof of the S range is slated. Chamfered axial beam with lamb's
tongue stops, and plain joists of vertical section.
