2. Barn C16. Timber framed and weather boarded with red plain tiled, half
hipped roof with gablets. 6 Bays. Offset double doors on north face and single
storey "cat slide" roof midstrey on south face. More recent lean-to addition at
east end. Queen strut roof with clasped side purlins, and windbraces to left hand
side of each bay. Corresponding braces in walls beneath the plate. Jowled posts,
curved braces to tie beams. Evidence of some re-used timbers. External panel of
plaster to far left hand bay on south face. (GV with No 26 to E).
